STORY COLLECTION (Round 2) 故事徵集活動 (第二輪)

Application Details

1. RATIONALE

CSRP and Ocean Park recognize the power of using positive affirmations, and the Story Collection is organized in the hope of fostering a culture of expressing gratitude in the community.

2. OBJECTIVES

  • Offer a platform for the public to take tangible steps in practicing gratitude by sharing personal stories
  • Inspire participants to show appreciation to others on a regular basis

3. DETAILS

We want to hear your true, personal stories! This Story Collection is a platform for participants to acknowledge each other and to show people we care. Some true stories suggestions including but not limited to:

  • Showing gratitude to someone
  • Caring for someone
  • Receiving support from others
  • Overcoming a challenging situation in your life
  • Letting a person know he/she matters to you
  • And more!

Both English and Chinese stories are accepted, and each participant can only submit one true story. These personal stories can be experiences happened in Hong Kong or abroad.

Photos that would help readers to understand and remember the story better are also welcomed.

4. DIVISIONS

  • Junior (between 6 and 12)
  • Intermediate (between 13 and 18)
  • Open (19 and up)

5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (ENGLISH/CHINESE)

  • Junior Division: 200-400 words
  • Intermediate and Open Divisions: 400-1,000 words

7. DEADLINE

Sunday, 20 November 2016 (according to the postmark for submission by mail or 23:59 Hong Kong Time for online submission)

8. PRIZES

10 Award Places; Each awarded individual will receive two Ocean Park one-time entry adult tickets (valid until 31 Dec 2016)

9. JUDGING CRITERIA

The judging panel will determine the winners based on the following criteria:

  1. Content & Originality – 40%
    The originality of the story and the idea/theme behind the story.
  2. Clarity – 30%
    Express the story effectively through appropriate use of vocabulary and other writing skills.
  3. Structure – 20%
    The story is written in an organized manner that is easily understood and appreciated.
  4. Creativity – 10%
    The ability to think “outside the box” to engage readers in an interesting manner.

10. TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Only Hong Kong residents with valid Hong Kong Identity Card can join this activity.
  2. Stories must be the original work of the participant, have not previously published anywhere else and must not infringe the rights of any other parties. The views expressed in the entries are the participant’s and do not represent the views of the organizer.
  3. Each participant can only submit one true story.
  4. Stories must not contain anything defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise deemed as inappropriate.
  5. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  6. Stories cannot be edited after submission and will not be returned.
  7. Details of the Story Collection are subject to change without notice. Please refer to this page for most updated information of the Story Collection.
  8. All personal information provided must be accurate and complete.
  9. CSRP holds all rights to publish, reproduce or promote the stories.
  10. Breaches of the terms and conditions will lead to disqualification.
  11. CSRP reserves the right of final decision regarding all aspects of the Story Collection.

申請指引

1. 背景

  • 香港大學香港賽馬會防止自殺研究中心(CSRP)與香港海洋公園理解發放積極及正面的訊息的重要性,希望能透過舉辦本次故事徵集活動培養社會中的感恩文化。

2. 宗旨

  • 提供一個平台讓大家可以透過分享個人故事來抒發欣賞及感激之情
  • 啟發參與者於日常生活中多向他人表達感恩

3. 參加詳情

我們希望可以看到屬於你的真實故事!本次故事徵集活動是一個可以讓參與者表達對別人感激及關懷之情的平台。下列為建議的真實故事題材,但不限於此:

  • 感激身邊某個人
  • 關心身邊某個人
  • 關於別人給予你的鼓勵及支持
  • 克服你生活中的一個「黑暗時期」/ 難關
  • 讓身邊的人知道他/她對你有多麽重要

中文及英文故事均可。每位參加者只能提交一篇真實個人故事,而這些故事可以是在香港或外地發生的。

歡迎遞交照片幫助讀者更投入及了解你的故事內容。

4. 參加組別

  • 初級組:6至12歲
  • 中級組:13至18歲
  • 公開組:19歲或以上

5. 字數要求(中文/英文)

  • 初級組:200-400字
  • 中級組及公開組:400-1,000字

  • 活動已經完結

7. 截止參加日期

2016年11月20日(星期日)(郵寄遞交以郵戳作準;網上遞交必須在香港時間23:59前遞交)

8. 獎項

本輪有10個得獎名額;每名得獎者會獲得香港海洋公園成人日間入場門票兩張 (有限日期至2016年12月31日)。

9. 評審標準

評審團將會按以下標準選出得獎者:

  1. 內容及原創性 – 40%
    個人故事的原創性及故事背後的理念及主題。
  2. 清晰性 – 30%
    透過運用適當的詞彙及不同的寫作技巧有效地傳達故事內容。
  3. 文章結構 – 20%
    有組織地鋪排故事,讓讀者容易理解故事內容。
  4. 創意 – 10%
    跳出框框思考,透過有趣的方式吸引讀者。

10. 參加條款及細則

  1. 是次活動只限持有有效香港身份證的香港居民參與。
  2. 個人故事必須是參加者未曾被發表過的原創作品,並且內容不得侵犯或違反任何其他方的權利。個人故事的立場僅代表參加者的個人觀點,並不代表主辦或協辦單位的立場。
  3. 每位參加者只能提交一篇真實個人故事。
  4. 個人故事絕對不能包含任何誹謗、淫穢、違法等不當內容。
  5. 逾期提交之個人故事將不被接納。
  6. 個人故事提交後不可修改或取回。
  7. 故事徵集活動內容如有任何更改,恕不另行通知。請瀏覽網頁查閱更新資料。
  8. 參加者提供的個人資料須正確及完整。
  9. 遞交作品則代表參加者同意本中心有刊載、轉載及宣傳作品的權利。
  10. 違反參加條款及細則之參加者將會被取消參加資格。
  11. 本中心保留有關故事徵集活動各方面的最終決定權。
